Glasgow to Balinakill

Getting to Balinakill

The majority of visitors to the peninsula travel by road, passing along the west coast of Loch Lomond on route, possibly stopping for Oysters at Loch Fyne, or a guided tour of the Castle at Inveraray. It can be a long drive, but a one that everybody should take at least once. Once on the Peninsula the terrain climbs and plunges between the wind beaten heather of the lowland and the dense, deciduous forests of the mountains. The views out to the islands of Gigha, Arran and Jura are truely breathtaking. Click here for directions to Balinakill by road.
